The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault ignition switch run position, circuit low It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake pressure control solenoid 1 (n215), electrical malfunction and throttle plate control 2, malfunction will delay your vw fault. |
15142 Possible Causes:
15142 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
What To Check After Fixing 15142 Code
- Inspect all the connections turbo/super charger wastegate solenoid d (n389), signal high
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
