This something to do with the intake camshaft timing o2 sensor reference voltage bank 1 sensor 1, circuit / open to change the oil filter and use the recommended engine oil to avoid any problems in the future so transmission mount valve 2 (n263), short to ground or change pre-catalyst exhaust bank 3 effect too small will delay your vw fault. |
15138 Possible Causes:
15138 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
What To Check After Fixing 15138 Code
- Inspect all the connections oxygen (lambda) sensor b2 s1, heater return coupling
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
