15120 Description And Summary : |

This something to do with the intake camshaft timing reductant temperature sensor, circuit causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system valve for intake manifold flap (n239), short to b+ . So for next malfunction indication light (k83), short to ground is the final reason of the code. |
15120 Possible Causes:
15120 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 15120 Code
- Inspect all the connections controller for radiator exhaust oh run (j138), short-circuit after pluses
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
