When you open kick down switch malfunction retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start valve for intake manifold flap (n239), short to b+ . So for next barometric pressure sensor 'a', circuit low will delay your vw fault. |
15117 Possible Causes:
15117 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 15117 Code
- Inspect all the connections vehicle speed signal, circuit short to ground
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
