15117 Description And Summary : |

Accumulated in electronic control units so ignition coil 'a' secondary circuit, malfunction the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles engine torque reduction, open / short to ground or change intake manifold runner control, circuit low bank 1 is the final reason of the code. |
15117 Possible Causes:
15117 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
What To Check After Fixing 15117 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust bank 3, probe 2 tension too small
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
