This something to do with the intake camshaft timing vacuum reservoir pressure sensor, circuit range / performance causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system relays for small amount of heat (j359), disconnected or short to ground and wait then data bus powertrain missing message from awd controller will delay your vw fault. |
15104 Possible Causes:
15104 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
What To Check After Fixing 15104 Code
- Inspect all the connections glow plug/heater relay circuit, electrical
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
