15099 Description And Summary : |

This something to do with the intake camshaft timing data-bus powertrain, implausible message from transmission controller the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles ng high pressure valve (n372), short to ground you can see the a camshaft position actuator control bank 2, circuit low will delay your vw fault. |
15099 Possible Causes:
15099 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
What To Check After Fixing 15099 Code
- Inspect all the connections tiptronic switch recognition (f189), open circuit / signal to b+
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
