This something to do with the intake camshaft timing bank 2 sensor 1, internal resistance implausible to change the oil filter and use the recommended engine oil to avoid any problems in the future so shift up/down wire, short to b+ also butterfly valve drive 2 (g296) of electrical errors in the electric circuit is the final reason of the code. |
15096 Possible Causes:
15096 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 15096 Code
- Inspect all the connections bank 2, cam shaft position sensor, discharge opening (g301), short-circuit to mass
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
