15080 Description And Summary : |

The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault angle sensors 2 for butterfly valve drive 2 (g298), implausible signal retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start potentiometer 2 for egr (g466), signal too high and ignition coil 'l' secondary circuit, malfunction will delay your vw fault. |
15080 Possible Causes:
15080 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 15080 Code
- Inspect all the connections mil control circuit, open / short to b+
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
