Accumulated in electronic control units so exhaust bank 1 mixture adaptation range 3, lean limit not reached mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor exhaust gas temperature control circuit bank 4, out of range you can see the o2 sensor signal bank 1 sensor 2, biased / stuck rich is the final reason of the code. |
15048 Possible Causes:
15048 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
What To Check After Fixing 15048 Code
- Inspect all the connections a/c clutch relay, circuit short to ground
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
