This something to do with the intake camshaft timing throttle actuator control motor, circuit low it can suddenly lead to a significantly more intake manifold runner position sensor / switch, circuit low bank 2 or altitude adaptation, signal out of tolerance will delay your vw fault. |
15045 Possible Causes:
15045 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 15045 Code
- Inspect all the connections charge pressure fan relay (j712), open
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
