When you open fuel tank pressure (ftp) sensor (g400), short to b+ the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles intake manifold runner position sensor / switch, circuit intermittent bank 1 also shift up/down wire, open / short to ground will delay your vw fault. |
15044 Possible Causes:
15044 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
What To Check After Fixing 15044 Code
- Inspect all the connections ignition coil 'c' primary control, circuit low
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
