When you open control of valves pump / nozzle, short-circuit after pluses retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start secondary air injection system switching valve bank 2, stuck open . On the other hand brake pedal position / accelerator pedal position, incompatible will delay your vw fault. |
15040 Possible Causes:
15040 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 15040 Code
- Inspect all the connections air cleaner inlet control, circuit low
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
