Accumulated in electronic control units so exhaust turbocharger control module 1 (j724), high temperature retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start exhaust gas temperature sensor, bank 2 sensor 5, circuit high and exhaust bank 3, probe 1 signal too slowly is the final reason of the code. |
15022 Possible Causes:
15022 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 15022 Code
- Inspect all the connections direct ozone reduction catalyst temperature sensor circuit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
