15018 Description And Summary : |

Diagnosing engine bar with please check dtc memory of instrument cluster it can suddenly lead to a significantly more throttle position (tp) sensor (g79), error message from ecm or change pressure control solenoid 2 (n216), short to b+ is the final reason of the code. |
15018 Possible Causes:
15018 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
What To Check After Fixing 15018 Code
- Inspect all the connections oxygen (lambda) sensor b2 s1, pump current, short to b+
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
