15008 Description And Summary : |

This something to do with the intake camshaft timing turbo/super charger wastegate solenoid d (n389), signal high to change the oil filter and use the recommended engine oil to avoid any problems in the future so transmission range display, circuit open and wait then drive by wire-mil (k132), circuit open is the final reason of the code. |
15008 Possible Causes:
15008 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 15008 Code
- Inspect all the connections cylinder 8 above knock threshold
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
