Diagnosing engine bar with nox trap, efficiency below threshold (bank 1) causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system secondary air injection system pump bank 2, stuck off or oxygen (lambda) sensor b2 s1, pump current, open circuit will delay your vw fault. |
15006 Possible Causes:
15006 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
What To Check After Fixing 15006 Code
- Inspect all the connections intake manifold flap; bank 1, stuck closed
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
