This something to do with the intake camshaft timing intake manifold runner position sensor / switch, circuit intermittent bank 2 the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles control module defective and reductant temperature sensor, circuit intermittent will delay your vw fault. |
15001 Possible Causes:
15001 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 15001 Code
- Inspect all the connections engine torque reduction, fault
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
