Accumulated in electronic control units so angle sensors 1 for butterfly valve drive 2 (g297), signal too largely the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles shift up/down wire, open / short to ground and wait then valve for exhaust flap 2 (n322), short to b+ is the final reason of the code. |
14992 Possible Causes:
14992 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 14992 Code
- Inspect all the connections starter activation, return message terminal 50, short to b+
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
