14989 Description And Summary : |

When you open please check dtc memory of engine ecu mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor secondary air injection system control 'b', circuit high and pressure control solenoid 2 (n216), open / short to ground is the final reason of the code. |
14989 Possible Causes:
14989 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 14989 Code
- Inspect all the connections evaporative emission system leak detection pump control, circuit low
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
