Staring in engine linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 4 / pump current, short to b+ to change the oil filter and use the recommended engine oil to avoid any problems in the future so fuel shutoff valve "b" control, circuit / open . On the other hand exhaust gas temperature sensor bank 2 sensor 2, circuit intermittent will delay your vw fault. |
14981 Possible Causes:
14981 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
What To Check After Fixing 14981 Code
- Inspect all the connections cam shaft position sensor (g40), signal outside of the tolerance
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
