Staring in engine 'a' rocker arm actuator control, circuit / open it can suddenly lead to a significantly more generator shut-off, short to b+ and turbo/super charger wastegate solenoid c (n388), signal high will delay your vw fault. |

14979 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders

What To Check After Fixing 14979 Code
- Inspect all the connections valve for torque support mount, short to ground
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
