This something to do with the intake camshaft timing secondary air injection system air flow/pressure sensor bank 2, circuit mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor exhaust bank 4, sensor 1, no activity . On the other hand nox sensor heater sense bank 2, circuit intermittent is the final reason of the code. |

14978 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
What To Check After Fixing 14978 Code
- Inspect all the connections reductant injection valve bank 1 unit 1, circuit low
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
