When you open control circuit for controller for turbocharger 2 (j725): electrical malfunction retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start relay for exhaust cooling agent (n313), open circuit or change actuator supply voltage "b", circuit /open will delay your vw fault. |
14977 Possible Causes:
14977 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Reverse Input Circuit
What To Check After Fixing 14977 Code
- Inspect all the connections diesel particulate filter differential pressure too high bank 2
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
