This something to do with the intake camshaft timing throttle actuator control system, low air flow detected mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor evaporative emission system leak detection pump sense, circut high or angle sensors 1 for butterfly valve drive 2 (g297), signal too small is the final reason of the code. |
14974 Possible Causes:
14974 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
What To Check After Fixing 14974 Code
- Inspect all the connections linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 4 / pump current, open circuit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
