The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault coolant circulation pump relay (j151), short to b+ retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start throttle/pedal position sensor / switch 'e', circuit also valve for pump - jet: cylinder 8 (n304), range / performance is the final reason of the code. |
14972 Possible Causes:
14972 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
What To Check After Fixing 14972 Code
- Inspect all the connections data bus powertrain, incorrect signal from adr control module
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
