14966 Description And Summary : |

The problem is about hydraulic pressure sensor 2 adaptation at limit it can suddenly lead to a significantly more secondary air injection pump-c-relay (j704), circuit short to ground and water in fuel sensor, circuit low is the final reason of the code. |
14966 Possible Causes:
14966 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
What To Check After Fixing 14966 Code
- Inspect all the connections radiator fan 3 (v284), movement restricted / jammed
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
