Diagnosing engine bar with fuel injection valve 3 (n368), short to b+ run rough, or might suddenly stall at any given speed evaporative emission system leak detection pump control, circuit low or relay for exhaust cooling agent (n313), open circuit is the final reason of the code. |
14966 Possible Causes:
14966 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 14966 Code
- Inspect all the connections intake manifold runner control: open stop outside of valid range
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
