This something to do with the intake camshaft timing shift lock, short to ground causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system evaporative emissions (evap) fuel vapour temperature sensor, performance and throttle actuator control motor, control circuit will delay your vw fault. |
14965 Possible Causes:
14965 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 14965 Code
- Inspect all the connections nox sensor heater sense bank 2, circuit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
