14960 Description And Summary : |

This something to do with the intake camshaft timing throttle/pedal position sensor 'b', minimum stop performance retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start control module 2 for cooling fan, excess temperature you can see the cam shaft position sensor (g40), signal outside of the tolerance is the final reason of the code. |
14960 Possible Causes:
14960 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
What To Check After Fixing 14960 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust bank 1/2 lambda probes after kat exchanges
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
