The problem is about reset-resistant limp-mode active retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start please check coding of ecus in data bus powertrain also please check dtc memory of transmission ecu is the final reason of the code. |
14959 Possible Causes:
14959 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 14959 Code
- Inspect all the connections transmission temperature control
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
