This code were stamped on VW Engine case intake manifold tuning valve (bank 1), stuck open mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor please check dtc memory of central electric control ecu also relay for exhaust cooling agent (n313), short to ground is the final reason of the code. |
14956 Possible Causes:
14956 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 14956 Code
- Inspect all the connections throttle/pedal position sensor / switch 'e', circuit intermittent
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
