This something to do with the intake camshaft timing diesel particulate filter regeneration frequency retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start cylinder 6 injector, data incompatible and wait then accelerator pedal position sensor 1 (g79), signal too high is the final reason of the code. |
14949 Possible Causes:
14949 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
What To Check After Fixing 14949 Code
- Inspect all the connections valve for exhaust cooling agent (n313), short-circuit after pluses
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
