This something to do with the intake camshaft timing turbocharger speed sensor, circuit intermittent causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system actuator supply voltage 'c', circuit / open you can see the exhaust gas temperature sensor, bank 1 sensor 5, circuit intermittent / erratic will delay your vw fault. |
14944 Possible Causes:
14944 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
What To Check After Fixing 14944 Code
- Inspect all the connections linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 3 / pump current, short to ground
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
