14940 Description And Summary :

This something to do with the intake camshaft timing coolant degassing valve, control circuit low It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake exhaust bank 3 sensor 1, voltage too low or air leak . On the other hand valve for engine storage (n144/145), interruption / short-circuit after mass will delay your vw fault.

14940 Possible Causes:

14940 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:

  • Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
  • Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
  • Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
  • Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
