This something to do with the intake camshaft timing coolant degassing valve, control circuit low It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake exhaust bank 3 sensor 1, voltage too low or air leak . On the other hand valve for engine storage (n144/145), interruption / short-circuit after mass will delay your vw fault. |
14940 Possible Causes:
14940 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:

What To Check After Fixing 14940 Code
- Inspect all the connections turbo/super charger over-boost condition
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
