Accumulated in electronic control units so data bus powertrain, missing message from a/c controller it can suddenly lead to a significantly more relays for coolant additive pump (j496), open circuit or diesel particulate filter pressure sensor 'a', circuit intermittent / erratic is the final reason of the code. |

14938 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 14938 Code
- Inspect all the connections ignition coil 'f' primary control, short to plus
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
