14917 Description And Summary : |

This something to do with the intake camshaft timing linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 1, compensation wire pump current, open circuit to change the oil filter and use the recommended engine oil to avoid any problems in the future so injector cylinder 15 (n392), circuit low or drive by wire-mil (k132), circuit electrical malfunction is the final reason of the code. |
14917 Possible Causes:
14917 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
What To Check After Fixing 14917 Code
- Inspect all the connections ignition coil 'b' secondary circuit, malfunction
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
