Diagnosing engine bar with valve for coolant system circuit, low / intermittent It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake secondary air injection valve 4 (n385), circuit short to b+ and 'a' rocker arm actuator control, circuit high is the final reason of the code. |
14916 Possible Causes:
14916 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
What To Check After Fixing 14916 Code
- Inspect all the connections secondary air injection system bank 1, high air flow
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
