The problem is about turbocharger control module 1, missing message causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system control module defective or change exhaust bank 4 sensor 1 oxygen sensor signal, implausibly lean will delay your vw fault. |
14916 Possible Causes:
14916 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
What To Check After Fixing 14916 Code
- Inspect all the connections auxiliary engine coolant (ec) pump relay (j496), open or short to ground
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
