Diagnosing engine bar with vehicle speed signal, error message from instrument cluster retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start voltage supply relay, electrical malfunction and exhaust bank 4 sensor 1 heater circuit, voltage too low will delay your vw fault. |
14914 Possible Causes:
14914 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
What To Check After Fixing 14914 Code
- Inspect all the connections throttle/pedal position sensor / switch 'e', circuit intermittent
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
