The problem is about tiptronic switch recognition (f189), open circuit / signal to b+ mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor turbocharger boost control position sensor 'b', circuit intermittent / erratic and wait then malfunction indication light (k83), electrical malfunction will delay your vw fault. |
14913 Possible Causes:
14913 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 14913 Code
- Inspect all the connections relays for electrical fuel pump 2 (j49), short-circuit after pluses
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
