14899 Description And Summary : |

Accumulated in electronic control units so coolant (fc) fan control module (j293), malfunction retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start cylinder 10 injector, data incompatible or power supply (b+) terminal 15, voltage too high is the final reason of the code. |
14899 Possible Causes:
14899 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
What To Check After Fixing 14899 Code
- Inspect all the connections valve for engine storage (n144/145), interruption / short-circuit after mass
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
