This something to do with the intake camshaft timing automatic glow time control module 2 (j609), circuit implausible signal mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor o2 sensor negative current control bank 1 sensor 1, circuit low and valve for intake manifold flap (n239), short to b+ will delay your vw fault. |
14898 Possible Causes:
14898 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
What To Check After Fixing 14898 Code
- Inspect all the connections valve for pump - jet: cylinder 7 (n303), circuit low input
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
