Diagnosing engine bar with turbo/super charger, under-boost condition causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 4 / reference voltage, short to ground or oxygen sensor bank 3 sensor 1, voltage too low will delay your vw fault. |

14894 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 14894 Code
- Inspect all the connections o2 sensor exhaust sample error bank 1 sensor 1
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
