Accumulated in electronic control units so valve for coolant system circuit, high retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start shift up/down wire, open / short to ground or change exhaust gas temperature control bank 4, range / performance is the final reason of the code. |
14893 Possible Causes:
14893 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 14893 Code
- Inspect all the connections control circuit for controller for turbocharger 1 (j724): electrical malfunction
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
