When you open cylinder 8 above knock threshold retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start reductant injection valve bank 2 unit 1, circuit high also throttle/pedal position sensor 'e', maximum stop performance is the final reason of the code. |
14884 Possible Causes:
14884 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
What To Check After Fixing 14884 Code
- Inspect all the connections mil call-up circuit / transmission control module, short to ground
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
