This something to do with the intake camshaft timing reductant injection valve bank 2 unit 1, circuit / open the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles exhaust bank 2 sensor 1 oxygen sensor signal, voltage too low during deceleration also o2 sensor reference voltage bank 1 sensor 1, performance will delay your vw fault. |
14882 Possible Causes:
14882 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction

What To Check After Fixing 14882 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust gas temperature, bank 1 sensor 2, out of range
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
