When you open exhaust gas temperature sensor bank 2 sensor 1, circuit intermittent causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system valve for pump - jet, cylinder 5 (n244), electrical malfunction and wait then bank 2, system too rich at idle is the final reason of the code. |
14880 Possible Causes:
14880 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
What To Check After Fixing 14880 Code
- Inspect all the connections kick down switch, error message from engine contr.
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
