Staring in engine potentiometer 2 for egr (g466), signal too low mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor data-bus powertrain, missing message from brake control module also manifold absolute pressure / mass air flow - throttle position correlation at higher load is the final reason of the code. |
14879 Possible Causes:
14879 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 14879 Code
- Inspect all the connections oxygen sensor b1 s1: heating circuit regulation at upper limit, upper limit exceeded
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
