Staring in engine brake pedal position / accelerator pedal position, incompatible mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor starter interlock, circuit open or engine coolant level sensor / switch, circuit high is the final reason of the code. |
14872 Possible Causes:
14872 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 14872 Code
- Inspect all the connections direct ozone reduction catalyst deterioration sensor, circuit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
