Diagnosing engine bar with data-bus powertrain, missing message from brake control module causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system valve for fuel bypass (n312), short-circuit after pluses you can see the shift up/down wire, short to b+ will delay your vw fault. |
14860 Possible Causes:
14860 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 14860 Code
- Inspect all the connections pressure control solenoid 1 (n215), short to b+
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
