The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault intake manifold runner control, circuit / open bank 1 causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system please check dtc memory of ecu number 2 and reductant injection valve bank 2 unit 2, circuit high will delay your vw fault. |
14858 Possible Causes:
14858 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 14858 Code
- Inspect all the connections ignition coil 'f' primary control, short to plus
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
