This something to do with the intake camshaft timing exhaust bank 4 sensor 1 heater circuit, short to ground retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start relays for small amount of heat (j359), disconnected or short to ground . So for next throttle/pedal position sensor 'd', minimum stop performance will delay your vw fault. |
14851 Possible Causes:
14851 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 14851 Code
- Inspect all the connections please check dtc memory of abs control module
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
